“Do It Yourself” Elderberry Syrup Kit
100% Organic | Makes 1 Litre | Naturally Nourishing
Craft your own immune-supporting Elderberry Syrup at home with our “Do It Yourself” Elderberry Syrup Kit, thoughtfully blended with organic dried elderberries, fragrant cinnamon quills, warming cloves, juniper berries, and soothing echinacea.
This traditional recipe has been used for generations to support the immune system, especially during the colder months. Elderberries are rich in antioxidants, vitamins A and C, and are well-known for their antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. Combined with echinacea for immune defence, cinnamon and cloves for warming and anti-viral properties, and juniper berries for their cleansing abilities, this kit offers powerful wellness in every spoonful.
Tasting Notes:
A rich, earthy base from elderberries is beautifully balanced with the warming spice of cinnamon and clove, subtly sweetened with honey for a comforting, slightly tangy syrup the whole family can enjoy.
How to Make (Makes approx. 1 Litre):
Ingredients:
200g DIY Elderberry Syrup Blend (provided)
1.5 litres water
½ to 1 cup raw honey (to taste)
Instructions:
Add the entire contents of the DIY Elderberry Syrup Blend to a saucepan with 1.5 litres of water.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer gently for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by about one-third.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth, pressing the solids to extract all liquid.
Once the liquid is cooled to below 35 degrees (to preserve the healing enzymes in the raw honey), stir in the honey until dissolved.
Pour liquid into a sterilised glass jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
Enjoy 1 tablespoon daily for immune support, or up to 3 times daily during illness.
*Not recommended for children under 1 year due to honey content.
